PEMBA DIVE BUSH CAMP

 

Pemba Dive Bush Camp (formerly Nacole Jardim Bush Camp ) is known as the best spot in Pemba, Cabo Delgado, Northern Mozambique.

Pemba Dive Bush Camp is a well-established hideout with a secluded sunset beach overlooking Pemba bay, the world third largest natural bay. The 40-hectare nature estate is 10 minutes from town.

Pemba Dive Bush Camp offers self catering, affordable, chilled-out comfortable accommodation, bush camping and backpackers, with beach front chalets which is nestle amid rare plants, bio diversity of indigenous bush, ancient trees, three types of mangrove vegetation, secluded beaches , surround by a beautiful mountainous range with a stunning panoramic view of the bay. Both adults and children can get lost in this interesting playground .

This eco friendly program is respected and blessed by the community. The owner is a trained as an Injanga (traditional healer), BAA, Shaman, herbalist, reflexologist and aromatherapist, motivating conservation and other survival skills.

SECLUDED BEACH

The main beach is so secluded it whispers "Welcome to paradise.”   And is equipped with lots of shade, private bar, beach barbeque, shower, change room, games and toys.

A major attraction is sunset photography and relaxing around the beach campfire,with a number of  campfire stories are told  how the estate and coral reefs are preserved as a reserve .

Sunset on the beach is rewarding with sundowners. Private beach parties have quite a history.

 

 

 
 

 

NATURE WALKS & Jogging Trail

With such a Bio-diversity of Vegetation from coastline to a mountainous range offers you numerous species of mangrove trees, indigenous trees,(tree spotting) shrubs and indigenous medicinal plants.


Vast indigenous habitats: mangrove, bushveld, thornveld, etc.
Bird watching paradise in a well-balanced eco system,  a variety of different types of crabs, insects attract alot of mammals, reptiles and birds, nature walks & jogging trails .
    

Of the 40 Baobab trees you can walk inside the ancient Nacole Baobab tree 9m2 hollow,refugees hid inside during the war, now explored for wall climbing.

      -  sightseeing

SCUBA DIVING
Pemba has one of the most extensive varieties of hard and soft coral, giant fan coral 3m x 3m, the edge of reef has deep drop-off.


There are four species of dolphin & marine turtle , different species of Sea horses are found in Pemba bay, Sunfish and Whales are sighted.

 


Discover scuba is offered to person with no prior experience.
Active conservation work is executed, marine police & police are sponsored and motivated.
Success - very little fish 5years ago inside Nacole bay, recorded now,

one fly-fisherman caught & released 25 barracuda in one day.

MUD BATH
A favorite, to bring the child with in you out. The black mud is rich in minerals which softens your
skin and conditions your hair. There must be a tonic in the mud getting all to play and giggle. 


 

ARCHERY
We offer a brief introduction to the ancient art of archery.  
We use standard "long-bows" which are fairly easy to master.

How to get to the "Spirit of Adventure"...

The main road coming into Pemba on the left just before the control point is the turn off to Pemba Dive Bush Camp (Nacole Jardim).  The control point is 2km's before the Airport.  Transport is available.
